Hope is a Registered Nurse with 25 years of experience in Geriatric Nursing. She grew up in New Orleans, where her grandmother used to take her, her brother, and sister to nursing homes on weekends. These places, in the eyes of a child, were very depressing, with residents in old hospital gowns who had little to no visitors. She knew even then that the treatment of the elderly needed to be a priority.
Fast forward to the present, as a nurse in the DFW area, she has been blessed with coordinating the care of Senior Adults and working with their families. During her career, Hope has had leadership roles in Private Duty Home Care, Assisted Living, and Acute Rehab, including participation in the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class XXVII. She received D Magazine’s Excellence in Nursing Award in 2017. Since then, she has become a Certified Dementia Practitioner as well as a Professional in the Aging Life Care Association.
Hope has served on the Boards of many non-profit organizations in Dallas, and she is currently the Secretary for Pajamas for Seniors, a non-profit that is blessing the lives of low-income Older Adults.
